I recently had the privilege of offering my services through RS Exclusive to the production of a short film called The Ratio, assisting with production design and styling. The Ratio is a film directed, produced, and filmed by several talented students of Regent University.
When my dear friend, Danielle, called to request my services on this shoot, I was only too excited to help. Not only did I get to offer assistance in the area of production styling, but I was also asked to open up our home for use in several scenes.
A photo of Danielle and I. Talk about talented, Danielle is one of those individuals that can do just about anything! She is an incredible graphic/web designer, seamstress, amazing lead production designer, and beautiful friend...in addition to being an incredible woman of God. So blessed to have her in my life.
Our day began at 11:30 AM with room setup and scene prep, followed by the arrival of 20 + crew members: grips, equipment setup team, videographers, the director, producers, makeup artist, etc. Needless to say, our home was packed to capacity and a fury of activity.
Little Bear was having a blast with all of the new faces, and was a very good boy the entire time. He was dubbed the official mascot of the shoot, and enjoyed watching most of activity from his little perch in the kitchen.
Getting ready to shoot the first few scenes in our living room.
Our two stars getting makeup done in our "green room."
One of our design projects was to transform our guest bedroom into a room fit for a seven year old boy.

Behind the scenes with Chris and Bear
Bear had a long day of directing...he needed some coffee, stat. That's right, Bear, failure is not an option in this family. ;-)
Looking forward to sharing the film with you all once it has come through post-production and is released, probably sometime in May.
In the meantime, if you need any styling assistance, don't hesitate to contact our team at RS Exclusive. There's no project too little or too big that we can't tackle -- with style. ;-)
